Royal Oak Pub & Guesthouse

Please Check Out Our New Measures for a Great Pub Experience
We are back doing what we love, and it feels so good. After missing you
all for such a long time during lockdown, it means the world to us
that we get to fully open our doors to you once again.
Our teams have been working their socks off to provide a safe and
comfortable environment for you all to enjoy. Our top priority has, and
will always be the safety of our guests and our teams.
You may notice that things have changed slightly around your favourite
local, as we have made some necessary changes to help everybody who
visits and works in the pub feel safe.
Although some things may be a little different, you can still expect
to find the same warm and welcoming pub atmosphere that you are
used to and have missed. You see, there are some things that
will never change, and our passion for providing a great pub
experience is one.
Here in The Royal Oak, you will find a pleasant environment where
you can enjoy all of the aspects of the pub that you love responsibly,
whether that be a cold pint, a hearty home-cooked meal ,
or a gin and tonic in our awesome beer garden.
Some of the measures we have put in place include a host to greet you
when you arrive, disposable menus, and we have moved all of our
furniture to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
We have some other Guidelines  in place that you can read here.
Before you plan a visit, there are probably some things you want to
know, so below is some relevant information, that you may find helpful.

Do I Need to Book?
Bookings to visit us are not compulsory, but we do advise to avoid dissapointment, particulary during common busy periods.
Can I book a table in the Garden?
Our garden tables are on a walk-in basis only and cannot be pre-
booked at the moment. We are working very hard to accommodate everybody. However, should you arrive at a particularly busy period, you may be asked to wait. Please keep an eye for updates as some
of these measures may change.

What are your opening hours?
Our opening hours have changed slightly.
We are now open from 12pm every day

Have your Menus Changed?
We are operating a Full Pub, Brunch and Sunday Menu, all of
which can be viewed
Can I still get a Takeaway?
For anybody who would still like to enjoy The Royal Oak at home,
all of our food menus are available for takeaway.
As always, Sundays are covered in delicious roasts
and they are available to take away.
In order to improve our service and to make The Royal Oak an even safer place
to visit, we have introduced a brand-new Order to the Table App.
Our app can be downloaded from the Google Play and Apple App Store.
Simply search for "True Pub Co App".  Once you have registered you can
order food and drink safely and directly to where you are sitting.
You can pay securely through the app and we will bring
everything to you. It's that simple.
Thank you to everybody who supported us during lockdown, those of you
who took part in our quiz, donated to our chosen charity, enjoyed parts of the
Royal Oak at home or sent us a kind message.
Every like, comment and follow on social media meant the world
and kept us feeling connected to the community we missed.
Your support will always be remembered, and we are very grateful to be at the heart of such a wonderful community of people.
Thank you to everybody who has visited us already. We hope you enjoyed
being back. We sure loved seeing you all.
We hope to see you all soon.
